Greetings fellow Triumph enthusiasts. On behalf of the Central Oklahoma Vintage Triumph Register (COVTR), the State of Oklahoma, the City of Shawnee, and the Great Citizen Potawatomi Nation, welcome to the 2027 South Central Vintage Triumph Register Regional Meet.
This year’s event will be held April 21-24 at the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in historic Shawnee, OK, located in the heart of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. The history of Shawnee tells a story of strength, resilience, and steady progress. From its beginnings as a Native-influenced region to its development as a thriving community, the city has evolved through many important stages, with each stage adding depth and creating a place that feels both historic and modern. Today, Shawnee stands as a city that honors its past while embracing the future. During your visit, please take the time to explore its history. I assure you won’t be disappointed. Shawnee is more than a city—it’s a story of growth, community, and enduring spirit.
The Citizen Potawatomi Nation is a federally-recognized tribal government and represents over 38,000 tribal members. The Citizen Potawatomi are a creative and dynamic people with their own storied history and traditions. Their spiritual beliefs, tribal values, unique culture, and language combined with their commitment to helping others make Shawnee a vibrant and diverse community.
Our host, The Grand Casino Hotel and Resort is owned and operated by Citizen Potawatomi Nation and is the premier tourist venue in this area. It is conveniently located on I-40 with easy on and off access. There is plenty of on-site parking for both cars and trailers and a gas station is also on the property. The Grand offers a variety of on-site entertainment including the largest casino in the area, live music, spas, and shopping. There are varied dining options ranging from upscale restaurants, to fast food.
Most non-touring driving events (Autocross, Funkhana, Le Mans Start, etc.), and the Concours and Participant’s Choice Car Shows will be held at the Grand. Our goal is to make your visit comfortable and convenient, with no worries and no hassles. The Grand certainly accomplishes both. Thank you for visiting Oklahoma and spending a wonderful few days with the COVTR. We look forward to driving with you.
