TSD Rallye

 

Location:  Depart Hotel Portico 

Date/Time:  9:00am – 4:30pm Wednesday and Thursday

 

The  “Oklahoma Gunslinger and Route 66 Rallye” is a wonderful trip through the Oklahoma country side.  You will motor past many central Oklahoma historic landmarks and cruise down approximately 30 miles of “America’s Main Street”.  The option to drive on a section of original Route 66 concrete, tour the Round Barn, visit “Pops” and other attractions is available in the new “Side Trip” procedure. Also new this year is a “Touring Class“ where non-serious rallye teams can simply follow the course, visit attractions, take photos and enjoy the ride. “Novice” and ”Overall” Class entrants will continue competing for trophies and the Carolinas and Ken Richardson Cups in a more traditional TSD rallye format. The Route is 135 miles with many sights and amenities along the way.  Do not be daunted by the distance, the routing is simple, directions plentiful, and it should take 3 to 4 hours to drive depending upon your Class and “Side Trips” taken.  You may leave as early as 9:30 am but not later than 12:00 pm to ensure your return by 4:30 PM.  This event qualifies as a moving event.
